Marks on skin, caused by injection or fashion, childbirth or sport, can act like labels, and be as interesting as breasts and the other sexual 'hotspots'.

'I became interested in her injection marks, and one didn't quite resemble like the rest I'd seen. That it was caused by the smallpox vaccine, a disease now officially declared extinct gave her figure a little date stamp, and me the title of the work.'
